Terms of Service

By accessing and using CropKhata, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CropKhata.

CropKhata provides a web-based platform for farmers to track crop expenses, view local weather updates, check commodity and mandi prices, read agricultural news and blogs, and manage farm finances. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature at any time.

We may display third-party advertisements on our platform through Google AdSense. These ads help us keep CropKhata free for all farmers.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One person may maintain only one account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at cropkhata@gmail.com.

You retain ownership of content you submit (blogs, news, crop data, photos). By submitting content or uploading images, you grant CropKhata a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, store (including via our image hosting provider, Cloudinary), and display the content on our platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws, infringe on third-party rights, or violate our content guidelines.

• Using the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any Indian laws.
• Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Uploading images or content you do not have rights to, or that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Interfering with the proper functioning of the service.
• Using automated systems or bots to access the service without permission.
• Clicking on advertisements in a fraudulent or artificial manner.
• Using the platform to distribute spam or unsolicited communications, including via push notifications.

All content, features, and functionality of CropKhata — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by CropKhata and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

CropKhata displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense and other third-party networks. By using our service, you agree:

• Not to click on advertisements artificially or encourage others to do so.
• That advertisements are provided by third parties and do not constitute endorsements by CropKhata.
• That we are not responsible for the content or accuracy of third-party advertisements.

CropKhata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. We do not guarantee the accuracy of agricultural news, weather forecasts, commodity/mandi market prices, push notifications, or any other information provided on the platform. Your use of the service, and any decisions made based on information or alerts received through it, is at your sole risk.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at cropkhata@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease and your data — including uploaded images and stored notifications — may be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
